plot
When a guest of
a luxurious Country hotel dies from consuming arsenic-tainted winkles, the
rest of the inhabitants are shocked, none more so than Admiral Clanger ,
who was supposed to eat the decidedly fishy dinner. Convinced that he was
the intended victim, he immediately telegrams ace detective Lord Peter
Flimsy who speeds down to the scene of the crime assisted by his faithful
sidekick Punter. With twists and turns involving, skeletons, limericks,
fortune telling, Inspector Bungler and a fish and a winkle shop, the case
turn out to be much more complex than the duo originally perceived...
review
So, we now kick off with series two. If you thought the first series
was bad, this is worse. Anyway, in this one Peter Butterworth's great and
it's good to see Marianne Stone. But the episode is still poor.
