plot
Dr. Janis
Crunbitt has just taken delivery of the sarcophagus of King Rametupem
which is to be added to The Wapping Collection. However there's just one
small problem, the sarcophagus has been replaced by a dead body. Even
worse, Professor Bloomers, due to deliver an Egyptian papyrus to Dr.
Crunbitt, has gone missing. Dr. Crunbitt decides to call in that master
sleuth Lord Peter Flimsey and his faithful servant Punter to get to the
bottom of these foul deeds. It appears that there may be more to this
Egyptian mystery than meets the eye...
review
The worst of the Flimsy trilogy. For some reason, Joan Sims is rather
annoying in this one and desperately overacts. Although to be fair, she
hardly had the best material to work with.
