plot
War with Germany
is on the cards, and in the household of Sir Henry Bludgeon-Plunger both
Upstairs and Downstairs are making plans. Perpetually befuddled Sir Henry
is stocking on fifty million pairs of boot laces for the troops. His
daughter Virginia has become a suffragette and is campaigning for women's
rights whilst son Willie is doing just about everything in his power to
avoid military service. Meanwhile downstairs a new footman by the name of
Otto Klanger has joined the staff. He immediately arouses suspicion by
keeping Carrier pigeons as a hobby and having a rather odd accent.
review
More servants and their masters gubbins. All across the nation, people
fail to laugh.
