plot
We join amateur
sleuth Lord Peter Flimsy and his faithful sidekick Punter as the pair are
summoned to a small English Village. The Local vicar has discovered the
body of Mr Longhammer whilst rehearsing for variety show in the village
hall. He has been murdered. Just when it looks like things couldn't get
any worse, the ninth church bell (the 'cobbler') rings again, alerting the
village folk to another murder. Will Lord Peter Flimsey get to the bottom
of who perpetrated such foul deeds, and will his cherished car ever be the
same again?
review
Better than last weeks, they've even gone to the expense of film for
the location bits. It's still far from classic Carry On though.
