Carry On Competition
The prizes will be awarded to the senders of the first 45 all-correct
entries.
What's in a name?
Lots, when you have to think up a brand new batch for every Carry On.
Writer Talbot Rothwell has thought up dozens and so have producer Peter
Rogers and director Gerald Thomas, with peculiar suggestions from others
involved in the series.
Look at these 12 pictures. All are characters from Carry On films. We have
named the characters and the actors playing the roles. All you have to do
is name the films. To help you we have listed all the 25 Carry On's below
but have not included a picture from the latest, Carry On Girls (released
by Fox-Rank), as this is still on general release.
Make a list of the 12 films in the order pictures and send it on a
postcard to Film Review Magazine. Don't forget to add your name and
address. Closing date February 9th 1974.
The cinema tickets can be used at the entrant's choice of any ABC cinema,
or any Odeon or other Rank Organisation cinema, or any Classic cinema,
except in the West End and those having special presentations where
advanced booking applies. It is essential that you state on your entry
whether you would prefer tickets in an ABC, Rank or Classic cinema.
The answers will appear in our March issue, and winners' names in April.
No correspondence can be entered into. Employees (or their relatives) of
the EMI Group, the Rank Organisation and Fox/Rank Distributors are not
eligible for entry.
